Cassava or otherwise known as paki or ege or garri in the respective parlances of Igbo,Yoruba and the Hausa nation is one of Nigeria's most grown crops due to its almost daily consumption by vast majority of people especially in its processed forms like Garri or fufu. These uses which have formed a greater percentage of the nation's staple foods are now by the prevailing high costs of food items getting out of most consumers' reach, a development which calls for concerns both from the cultivation and feeding of our people.Rising from this challenge is the need to open up a collaborative wealth building initiative that guarantees abundance ofcassava through ourinvestment ownership scheme.
